Territory Protection

Mr. Handyman offers its franchisees designated territories with limited protection. Each franchise agreement specifies a territory, typically encompassing approximately 60,000 target households that meet the company's demographic criteria.

Within this territory, the franchisor agrees not to operate or grant another Mr. Handyman franchise, provided the franchisee complies fully with the franchise agreement. This territorial protection ensures that franchisees can develop their market without direct competition from other Mr. Handyman franchises.

However, it's important to note that this protection is limited; the franchisor retains certain rights, such as marketing and selling services outside the designated territory.
