iMove PT is a fast-growing physical therapy franchise based in Chesterfield, Missouri. Founded in March 2020 by Dr. Michael Gorman, it launched as a mobile service in St. Louis and Metro East, Illinois. The brand opened its first brick-and-mortar clinic in July 2023 and began franchising in 2022 across Missouri, Kansas City, Joplin, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The franchise offers both mobile and in-clinic physical therapy services. Clients benefit from one-on-one treatments including manual therapy, dry needling, NEUBIE electrical stimulation, fitness programs, ergonomic assessments, foot orthotics, nutritional consults, and home safety evaluations. These services address a wide range of conditions from sports injuries and joint replacements to neurological and vestibular rehab.

Training

iMove Physical Therapy provides a structured training program to prepare franchisees and their Operating Principals for launching and operating the business. This training is mandatory and must be completed before opening the franchise.

1. Initial Training Program:
   Franchisees and their Operating Principals must attend and successfully complete the Initial Training Program within 30 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. The program includes guidance on business operations, standards, marketing, recruiting, administrative procedures, and access to the Operations Manual.
2. On-Site Opening Support:
   A representative from iMove PT will visit the franchise location for up to three days at the time of opening to support setup and initial operations. This assistance is provided at no additional cost.
3. Ongoing Support and Refresher Training:
   iMove PT may also provide additional training or refresher courses, either in-person or virtually, as deemed necessary during the operation of the franchise. This ensures franchisees stay aligned with evolving standards and practices.

Territory Protection

iMove Physical Therapy provides franchisees with a defined territory for both Mobile and Brick and Mortar Clinics, but the protection offered is limited. For Mobile Clinics, the franchisor will not establish another clinic within the designated area, typically serving at least 30,000 residents aged 65 or older.

However, services outside this territory require prior written consent, and protection does not prevent indirect competition. For Brick and Mortar Clinics, the territory usually spans a 1-block radius in urban areas or a 3-mile radius in suburban or rural settings.

While iMove PT agrees not to place another location within this area, the franchisee is not granted exclusivity. The franchise may still face competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels controlled by iMove PT.
