Creative World School Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Creative World School offers educational childcare services with a focus on nurturing children's growth, creativity, and development.

Since its founding in 1970 in Missouri, Creative World School has established itself as a trusted leader in early childhood education. Now based in Bonita Springs, Florida, the franchise has grown into a nationwide network committed to fostering a love for learning in young children.

Creative World School serves a broad age range—from infants and toddlers to preschoolers and school-age kids—by offering developmentally appropriate programs rooted in curiosity-driven education. Each classroom environment is tailored to stimulate imagination and critical thinking.

At the heart of every Creative World School is the Exploratorium™, a unique, interactive learning space that encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on discovery. This signature feature sets the school apart and reinforces its innovative approach to early education.

In 2000, the company began franchising, providing business-minded individuals with an opportunity to contribute to the growth and enrichment of future generations through quality education.

Training

Creative World School provides comprehensive training programs for its franchisees to ensure successful school operations. The Franchisor offers several types of training:

  1. Management Training
This is a mandatory training program provided to you, your manager, and at least one additional management-level employee. It includes approximately 2 to 3 weeks of school operations management training and must be completed to the Franchisor’s satisfaction. The training is held at one of their designated facilities, currently located in Florida, and must be finished at least a month before the school opens.
  2. Employee/Staff Training
Conducted over 2 to 4 weeks, this training happens at your school or another training facility. It includes on-the-job sessions with a Creative World School Business Trainer, who demonstrates and discusses franchise policies and curriculum with your team. Additionally, there may be weekly 3-hour classroom sessions.
  3. Leadership Training Program
This classroom-based training covers multiple aspects such as:
    • Business Management (2 hours)
    • Budgeting (2 hours)
    • Accreditation (2 hours)
    • Establishing rates and collecting fees (2 hours)
    • Financial, Payroll, and Recordkeeping (0.5 hours)
    • Marketing and Enrollment (2 hours)
    • Human Resource Regulations (2 hours)
    • System Technology Training and Regulatory Agencies are also part of this with shorter sessions.

Territory Protection

Creative World School does offer a form of territory protection to its franchisees through what it terms an exclusive "Market Area." This designated Market Area typically includes the approved site for the school and a surrounding five-mile radius.

As long as the franchisee remains in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, the franchisor agrees not to open or authorize another Creative World School within this area. However, the franchise does not grant absolute exclusivity beyond this Market Area.

The franchisor retains the right to establish or franchise additional schools outside this boundary, even in close proximity, and these may indirectly compete with the franchisee's location. Additionally, there are no restrictions on accepting or soliciting customers outside of any franchisee’s designated territory.
