Training
Prime Car Wash provides a range of training programs for its franchisees to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company standards. The types of training provided include:
- Initial Training Program: This is mandatory for the franchisee and up to two additional management personnel. It typically spans about 20 days at the corporate headquarters, followed by three days at the franchise location. The training covers essential business operations and system standards.
- On-Site Assistance Training: Before the opening of the franchised business, training personnel provide approximately three days of on-site training. Additional on-site training may be provided if necessary, with costs borne by the franchisee.
- Replacement Personnel Training: The franchisor offers initial training to replacement personnel or individuals who did not complete the program earlier. This requires payment of the current training fee.
- Additional and Refresher Training: Periodic additional and refresher training programs may be mandated. These sessions aim to update the franchisee and management team on new practices or operational updates.
- Employee Training: Franchisees, or at least one personnel who has completed the initial training, are responsible for training employees in sales, advertising, maintenance, and other operational aspects, as per franchisor standards.
- Manuals and Operational Guidelines: The franchisor provides access to a proprietary operations manual, which serves as a continuous training and reference tool for running the franchise.
Territory Protection
Prime Car Wash provides limited territorial protection to its franchisees, defined by a "Designated Territory" surrounding the approved premises. Within this area, the franchisor will not establish or license another car wash using its proprietary marks, provided the franchisee complies with the terms of the franchise agreement.
The size and boundaries of the Designated Territory vary depending on factors such as market demand, demographics, and competition.
However, the franchisor reserves the right to operate or license competing businesses outside the designated territory or under different branding.
This means that franchisees may face competition from other outlets owned or licensed by the franchisor in nearby areas. Franchisees should understand that the granted territorial rights do not guarantee exclusivity beyond the defined boundaries.
