Training

Beem Light Sauna provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees and their teams are well-prepared to operate their studios. Here's a summary of the training components:

  1. Initial Training Program: Prior to opening the studio, Beem requires the franchisee and up to three employees to attend its Initial Training Program. The program itself is offered at no cost, though the franchisee is responsible for all travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
  2. Training Location and Costs: Training is held at a facility designated by Beem, and while no tuition fee is charged, associated travel-related expenses vary based on distance, accommodations, and other personal choices.
  3. Replacement/Additional Training: If a franchisee needs to send new personnel after the initial training or requests extra training sessions, Beem charges up to $350 per day for each additional training event.

Territory Protection

Beem Light Sauna provides a non-exclusive “Designated Territory” to franchisees. While it won’t open another brick-and-mortar Beem location in that area if the franchisee complies with the agreement, competition may still come from other franchisees, company-owned units, or different brands.

The franchisor also reserves the right to sell products or services through alternative channels like e-commerce, hotels, or med-spas, even within the franchisee’s territory. This means territorial protection is limited and does not exclude indirect competition.
