Training

Pearle Vision provides comprehensive training to its franchisees to ensure successful operation of their EyeCare Centers. This includes a blended training approach covering subject-centered, objective-centered, experience-centered, and opportunity-centered methodologies.

The training consists of virtual classroom instruction, on-the-job experiences in EyeCare Centers, and comprehensive web-based training curricula. These programs include both mandatory and optional training components to offer a customized learning experience.

Franchisees participate in the Franchisee Onboarding training program before opening their EyeCare Centers. This program typically takes place in selected EyeCare Centers or virtual classrooms.

The onboarding process also includes a Focus on Success Onboarding e-learning series, customizable based on the franchisee’s experience, and covers areas such as team management, product knowledge, inventory planning, and patient experience.

Additionally, franchisees complete hands-on training sessions (Session One and Two) of up to five and a half days each in an EyeCare Center.

Territory Protection

Pearle Vision does not grant exclusive territories to its franchisees, which means that franchisees may face competition from other Pearle Vision franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other distribution channels managed by the franchisor.

Franchisees are authorized to operate at a specific approved location as outlined in their franchise agreement, but they are not guaranteed territorial exclusivity for that area. This policy ensures that the franchisor retains flexibility in expanding its brand presence.

While Pearle Vision may consider geographic boundaries for establishing new franchises, the decision to grant a location is at the sole discretion of the franchisor.
