In the Nautical Boat Club franchise system, the Franchisor provides a structured set of training programs to prepare franchisees for operations:
Initial Training Program The Franchisor offers an initial training program that covers operations, software, marketing, and fleet management. This training is conducted both in the classroom and on-the-job at the headquarters in Austin, Texas, and consists of 20–40 hours for each component.
On-Site Opening Assistance In connection with the launch of the Nautical Boat Club, the Franchisor sends a representative to the franchisee’s location to provide on-site pre-opening and opening assistance for approximately 5 to 7 days. This assistance ensures that the franchisee can properly implement the operational model from day one.
Supplemental Advisory Assistance After the initial training, the Franchisor remains available to provide additional advisory assistance on a reasonable request basis or whenever they find it necessary. This support is aligned with the guidelines specified in the Brand Standards Manual.
Territory Protection
In the Nautical Boat Club franchise system, franchisees are granted a Designated Area but are not guaranteed exclusive territory. The Franchisor reserves the right to compete within the franchisee’s area despite the designation.
Franchisees are also restricted from operating a competing business within 50 miles of their Designated Area or any other Nautical Boat Club location after the franchise ends. Thus, territory protection is limited and conditional.
