Founded in 1994 in Austin, Texas, Nautical Boat Club introduced the concept of the Boating Country Club® to the United States. With its headquarters still based in Austin, the brand expanded into franchising to make its innovative boating lifestyle available to more communities across the country.
Nautical Boat Club provides its members with unlimited use of a wide selection of top-tier boats, such as center-console models, luxury tri-toons, sport boats, double-decker party boats, and wakeboard/surf boats. This diverse fleet allows members to enjoy a variety of water activities without the burdens tied to traditional boat ownership.
The club distinguishes itself by delivering a premium, hassle-free boating experience. Members can immerse themselves in a luxury boating lifestyle without the complications typically involved with purchasing, leasing, or renting a boat.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
In the Nautical Boat Club franchise system, the Franchisor provides a structured set of training programs to prepare franchisees for operations:
In the Nautical Boat Club franchise system, franchisees are granted a Designated Area but are not guaranteed exclusive territory. The Franchisor reserves the right to compete within the franchisee’s area despite the designation.
Franchisees are also restricted from operating a competing business within 50 miles of their Designated Area or any other Nautical Boat Club location after the franchise ends. Thus, territory protection is limited and conditional.
